I was hoping to reserve one of the separate houses - we will have 4 couples and one child, who can sleep on an air mattress or something. I recall there being a house that could accommodate that many people, with the bedrooms upstairs, and a common room upstairs as well. The weekend we would like to come is the weekend of July 11- 13. After staying with you I got a burst of inspiration and a sense of warmth in my heart. It was nice talking about our "roots" and some things I haven't thought about in years. I got my old cast iron frying pan out and tried to make the russian pancakes...for the first try they did not come out bad....If you could would you please send me your recipe I would love it. These seemed a little looser of a batter. Just added a bit more flour. We had a wonderful time and it was just what I needed to get back in touch with myself. I do hope that we see each other again.
Hi Wanda, We got home yesterday, we were a bit sad to leave you but we were so happy to see the kids and it feels great to be back home. We felt so at home with you, as if you were an old friend that we would have always known. I promised to my children that I would take them to your house someday. It was an experience that we are still talking about. The surroundings are fabulous and the food worth talking about for the past 10 years. We are going to return this fall for another visit with Wanda and her family. If you haven't been yet, treat yourself - you sure won't be disappointed!!!! A fantastic place to stay! It was very peaceful and beautiful. The host was wonderful, her meals were unbelievable, and the cabin was absolutely gorgeous! Her pets just added to the pleasure of being there!
