The Historic Spencer Sulphur Springs

The Spencer Springs Resort dates back almost 150 years, It was a popular Summer Resort making use of the natural sulphur spring water in the area
(Similar to the Colorado Springs area).
The resort attracted professors, society folk, and others looking for the healing
properties of this natural spring water.
The water is completely safe for drinking, and is especially soothing in a hot bath.
(Try the Polish Jacuzzi or the Russian Jacuzzi!)
Although the resort is now gone, the natural sulphur springs are still here,
and flow directly into the pipes at Log Country Inn.
(The water does have a natural sulphur odor. If this is offensive to you,
we recommend the rooms in the Third House.)
